01

The agreement

These terms are the contract between Co Sweyt (referred to as "we", "us", "Co Sweyt") and the business that signs up for the service ("you", "the salon", "customer"). By creating an account, you accept these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.

Co Sweyt currently trades as [legal operator name to be confirmed at incorporation] from [registered office address to be added]. We're in the process of registering as a UK limited company; until then the contract is with the unincorporated operator.

02

What we provide

Co Sweyt is a software service that helps salons run their day, made up of (without limit) an AI receptionist (Remi), a booking calendar, a deposits and payments engine, a till and reconciliation flow, a team and payouts module, retail, loyalty, content drafting and campaign tooling, and a customer-facing mini-site. Plans and prices live at cosweyt.com/pricing.

We'll do our best to keep the service available and performant. We don't guarantee 100% uptime, and we don't promise specific outcomes (more bookings, fewer no-shows, etc.); the numbers depend on how the salon uses the product.

03

Your account and use

You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials secret and tell us if you suspect they've been compromised.
  • Use Co Sweyt only for lawful, legitimate salon operations. Anything that violates UK law (including consumer protection, advertising standards, anti-spam, and data-protection law) is a breach.
  • Use the AI assistant (Remi) within its intended scope: receiving and making customer-service calls, drafting campaigns, answering owner questions. Do not use Remi to make decisions that bind a customer to anything outside the booking + commerce flows we've built.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or white-label the service.
  • Not use the service to send unsolicited marketing outside the consent rules in PECR and UK GDPR.
04

Your data, our role

You own the data you bring to Co Sweyt and the data your customers generate while using it (bookings, payments, messages, etc.). You can export it at any time.

For end-customer personal data, you are the Data Controller and Co Sweyt is the Data Processor. The terms governing that relationship (the categories of data, the security commitments, sub-processor list, and deletion timelines) are set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. If you require a separate signed Data Processing Agreement, email founders@cosweyt.com.

05

Plans, fees, and billing

Plan tiers, prices, and what's included live at cosweyt.com/pricing. Fees are charged in GBP, in advance, monthly or annually depending on the plan you pick. Tax treatment, where applicable, is set out at checkout.

Trial

New salons can use the service for a 21-day trial without payment. We don't take a card for the trial. At the end of the trial, the salon picks a plan and adds payment; if no plan is picked, the account pauses but data is retained for 30 days so you can return.

Card payments and Stripe

Subscription payments and end-customer card transactions are processed by Stripe. By using the service you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement.

Late payment

If a subscription payment fails, we retry and email you. If a payment isn't made within 14 days of the due date, the service may be paused until payment is resolved. We don't charge interest or admin fees for late payment.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, but we'll refund or credit on a case-by-case basis if there was a clear service failure on our side. Email founders@cosweyt.com if you think you're owed one.

06

AI services (Remi)

Remi uses large-language-model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) and a voice provider (Retell with ElevenLabs voices) to deliver calls, drafts, and assistant answers.

Remi is designed not to make things up. The booking tool only confirms slots that exist in the calendar; the pricing tool only quotes prices from your services table; the cancellation tool requires the booker on the line; refunds are an owner action, never an AI action. You can read the four hard rules at cosweyt.com/features/remi.

Despite that, AI output can be wrong. You retain responsibility for what your AI receptionist says on your salon's behalf. We'll work with you in good faith to fix any material failure of the service to meet what we've documented.

07

Intellectual property

Co Sweyt and its underlying software, designs, and content remain our intellectual property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for the duration of your subscription.

Anything you upload (logos, photos, captions, customer notes, etc.) stays yours. You grant us a licence to store, transmit, and display that content as needed to run the service for you.

Where you ask Remi to generate content (captions, campaign drafts, replies), you own the output. We don't claim rights in it.

08

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited under English law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in that period, or (b) £1,000. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost goodwill, or lost data beyond what we've agreed to back up and restore.

You agree to keep Co Sweyt indemnified against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your handling of your end-customers' data in a way that breaches law applicable to you.

09

Term and termination

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard or by emailing founders@cosweyt.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. Material breaches of acceptable use (fraud, illegal activity, putting others at risk) can be terminated immediately.

On termination we give you 30 days to export your data; after that we'll delete it per the schedule in our privacy policy, except for what we're legally required to retain (e.g. billing records for HMRC).

10

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes are emailed to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect; you can cancel if you don't accept the change. Minor edits (clarifying language, fixing links) update the date at the top of this page without notification.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes that can't be resolved between us go to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12
